Knowing that steroids have side effects, people still tends to ignore its side effects to achieve a better physical condition for themselves. The most commonly reported side effects of oral steroids by both males and females includes mood swings, dry skin, gradual change in weight that is it may increase the users weight or may decrease the weight, more sweating than usual, acne, bruising and skin discoloration, facial hair, menstrual problems, deposit of extra fat on arms, neck and back, eye pain, bloody coughing, swelling, un even heart rate.

Injected steroids are those steroids that are injected into the human body through syringes. The most commonly reported side effects of injected steroids by both males and females includes anxiety, facial flushing, high blood sugar, development of breasts in males, baldness in both males and females, sleeplessness, breathing issues, joint pain, stomach ulcers, back pain, bleeding, fever, swelling, infection, allergic reactions, prostate cancer, shrinking testicles, reduced sperm count in males, sore nipples, liver damage and sometimes liver tumor, emotionally aggressive behavior also known as Roid Rage resulting in self-harm or may harm others, hepatitis and AIDS.
